Welcome to Mrs. Hanna’s Second Grade Classroom

Hi there! My name is Mrs. Vanessa Hanna.  I teach Second Grade here at Our Lady of Refuge, this will be my seventh year at Our Lady of Refuge. I graduated from Wayne State University in 2013  with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Social Studies and a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology.

As a teacher here I will be in a position to be a role model for my students at very early ages. At such a young age I am here to help mold the students into future successful young professionals. I believe that having such an impact on a child early on in life is one of the most rewarding aspects of the profession.
