Our Lady of Refuge has been a part of the Archdiocese of Detroit for over 65 years. During this time, we have been able to celebrate a wide variety of our accomplishments. However, none of them would be possible without our wonderful students and families. We currently have over 340 students in our preschool through 8th grade. However, we owe our success to the hundreds of students that have graduated prior from Our Lady of Refuge. Our Lady of Refuge has students from different backgrounds providing us with a diverse and culturally celebrated atmosphere. These students have gone on to be priests, doctors, lawyers, teachers, fire fighters, members of the United States Army, and so much more.
Through the use of this page, we hope to help keep former families up to date with current events both at school, as well as allow our alumni a place to connect. We want to hear from you. If you have not had a chance to reconnect with us at Our Lady of Refuge, this is your place to do so. We want to hear about YOU! We want to hear about the many accomplishments you have had and how Our Lady of Refuge helped you get there. Please complete the form below and send photos to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you and being able to catch up!

Oscar Mansky is an actor living in Chicago, IL. His siblings all attended OLR at some point, as well as his Mom, Maureen. Some of his favorite memories include playing basketball during lunch, being given equipment privileges for recess, and playing in the basketball program (even if it was spent mostly on the bench). A couple of his favorite teachers were Mrs. Murphy in 3rd grade and Mrs. Waltz in 7th and 8th grade. He now spends his time in the acting world, and is based in Chicago. He’s most recently been featured in Chicago Fire, as well feature films ‘If You’re Gone’ and ‘Bathroom Stalls and Parking Lots,’ with more movies and shows in the works. He also hosts ‘What Happenedish Podcast’ with his brother and fellow OLR alum. We are so proud of Oscar and all of his accomplishments!
