Emily EnglerMr. Robert Pyles, Principal of Our Lady of Refuge School, is pleased to announce that Mrs. Emily Engler is joining our school faculty as a new teacher for the additional 2nd grade class that is being added this year.

Mrs. Engler grew up in the local area graduating from West Bloomfield High School.  She graduated from Grand Valley in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and English.  Most recently, she taught in Germany for two years before moving back to Michigan with my husband.  Her hobbies include photography, reading, playing volleyball and traveling.

“I am excited to be teaching in the community I grew up in, and am looking forward to a wonderful and successful school year!”

Mr. Pyles commented, “I am pleased to have Mrs. Engler join our faculty.  Her experience will be a key asset as we introduce an additional second grade this year and continue to develop and strengthen our curriculum to meet the needs of our students both today and into the future.”
