New Computer Lab Teacher – Mrs. Baskerville

Meghan BaskervilleMr. Robert Pyles, Principal of Our Lady of Refuge School, is pleased to announce that Mrs. Meghan Baskerville is joining our school faculty as the new Computer Lab teacher after filling in as the interim teacher for a significant portion of the previous school year.

Mrs. Baskerville recently moved to Detroit from Chicago. In the suburbs of Chicago, she was an Instructional Technology Specialist for 16 years.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University and a Masters of Technology in Education from National Louis University.  In addition, she has a Masters of Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University.

“I am very excited to be the new Computer Lab teacher at OLR!  I am passionate about teaching, learning, and connecting with others through technology. I believe every student should develop technology skills to help them be successful in school and life.”

Mr. Pyles commented, “I am pleased to have Mrs. Baskerville join our faculty as our full time Computer Lab teacher starting this school year.  Her passion for teaching coupled with her formal training and extensive experience will enable us to reach further and achieve even greater results as we seek to leverage and apply the computer skills that students develop in Mrs. Baskerville’s class throughout the entire learning process at Our Lady of Refuge School.”
