Mr. Pyles gave each group of students the school’s WeDo2 Lego Sets and an iPad video to follow direction on construction of their Lego robotic cars. After the cars were built, the students use an app on the iPads to program their cars to move using Bluetooth technology. The students will have the opportunity to program the cars to change direction, duration of movement, speed, and many other programming options that come with the app.
This science unit enhances student’s curiosity and strengthens engineering skills. The students loved building their cars and are looking forward to programing and testing them! I’m sure they will be very proud of their accomplishments!
Thank you Mr. Pyles!
