For the 17th year Dan Briere, better known as Creature Dan, has visited our 3rd grade classes. What a success!!
As always, he brings a lively experience to our young learners. He integrates a hands on approach to our science lessons bringing in animals and talking about their habitats into the classroom. He brings along animals from several different classifications, such animals include types of non-venomous snakes and lizards, turtles and tortoises, crocodilians and amphibians, large invertebrates, small mammals and tropical birds.
Many of his animals have been adopted and rescued from local animal shelters, police departments and private citizens.
Third graders are always in awe of his little creatures!
