The fifth graders went on an awesome field trip to Indian Springs Metropark! The trip began by using the microscope lab at the park and looking closely at the pond water. The students found really cool organisms such as leaches, dragonfly larva, tadpoles, water spiders and water scorpions. Next, they hiked the trails. They saw a turtle, budding skunk plants, kill deer bird eggs and much more! The last stop was the National Weather Service Center in White Lake. The students learned about radars, weather balloons and other jobs that a meteorologist does. They had a great time on their field trip and learned so much!
